Thanks for bookmarking us and adding us to your RSS feed readers. We appreciate the growth of readership to this blog resource. :)

Please be sure to review the changes we made to our ways we report hosting statistics. We made some major changes for the better starting November 24th that should hopefully balance the playing field.

Here is the graph for Non_US Traffic / Speed Testing from our Non-US Based servers:

HostNine Non-US Traffic Test Results Graph November 2007

See the changes on the 25th in the graph? This is why we made the changes public, it would look to “fishy” otherwise. Here is the day by day chart.

HostNine Non-US Traffic Test Results Spreadsheet November 2007

As you can see, for HostNine we made some drastic changes to where this account is hosted using HostNine’s migrate account wizard. So far, things have been MUCH better. If anyone is having problems in HostNine’s California servers, definitely consider migrating elsewhere. It has helped GREATLY for us so far.

For the month, the total average for our Non-US testing was 2,031 ms. Of course, if you check AFTER the 25th, you’ll see our results were greatly improved. It will be interesting to see how HostNine does for the month of December after the changes.

Please Reference: About HostNine Speed Tests
This reference has important information on how our HostNine tests are performed. These results are based on full page load requests to a test 10K file used throughout our network for accurate reporting. All uptime percentages are based on a 1 minute ping resolution which is the highest setting possible.

The testing performed here is funded independantly by the site owner. The equipment and network required to operate these tests costs an incredible amount of money for us to maintain. If we helped you reach your web hosting decision, we would be greatful if you purchased your hosting plan through our links here. Without viewer support, this resource wouldn’t exist. Thank you.
